Once inflated the shelter will only require topping up if in place for long periods. The SBU does not need a fan or generator to
keep it inflated.
The SBU is a better option to normal Inflated Shelters – it's lighter and even more portable with its sealed beams made from the same material as rigid inflatable boats to make them very strong.
The units can be temporally fixed firmly to the ground using ropes, stakes or simply park your car on the vehicle weight pads.
They can be used as incident shelters, workshops or meeting points through to a wide range of emergency uses from crime
scene preservation to command and control centres.
The SBU is currently in use with the AWE, Police Forces and Boat Building Companies.
